Twig Classes

Classes are taught at a farm near Red Wing, MN., through various Community Education organizations throughout Minnesota, and at your location. The Farm classes are held in May, June, September and October and will provide you with the complete twig building experience. You will walk in an 80 acre hardwood forest and learn how to identify the hardwoods that you should use to build your furniture. We will then transport your harvested wood to a large barn where you will complete your piece. At the farm you will have a choice of making an Arbor, Twig Chair, Twig Table, Twig Bench, Slab Garden Bench, or a Bent Willow Chair. At The Community Education locations you can make a Twig Chair, or a Slab Garden Bench. Click on the product tabs to see a photo of the various pieces that you can build. Price: $149 per student and $25 for each additional helper for the one day classes, i.e. twig chair. table, arbor, twig bench and slab garden bench. $249 per student and $25/day for each additional helper for the two day bent willow class.
